3rd Geo-INQUIRE Project Annual Meeting 2025 in Naples, Italy

News

The third Geo-INQUIRE Annual Meeting has passed, bringing together  more than 50 participants on-site and more than 30 online!

Hours of impressive work were summarised by our colleagues. Now, with only ten months of Geo-INQUIRE left, it is the right moment to reflect on the impact, outcomes, and future directions emerging from a project that unites 51 institutions from more than 20 countries.

The meeting also brought together collegues from Research Infrastructures, represented by SIB members from European Plate Observing System , EMSO ERIC , ECCSEL ERIC , and ChEESE CoE , as well as members of our Advisory Board, such as Lesley Wyborn, whose insights continue to guide the project!

On behalf of the Geo-INQUIRE Project Management Office, we extend our sincere thanks to everyone participating and contributing to these achievements over the past 3 years.

A special thank you goes to our local organisers Gaetano Festa and Sonia Sorrentino, the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (UniNa) / University of Naples Federico II , and Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia —for their outstanding support and hospitality!
