Since the project beginning, in October 2022, Geo-INQUIRE promotes equality, diversity and inclusion within the scope of the project. Female colleagues and colleagues working in one of the widening countries, associated countries and outermost regions of Horizon Europe are given special attention during all Geo-INQUIRE application processes.

• Talk by Dr. Laura Ermert: "Gender differences in authorship in seismology"

• Talk at EGU 2025 by Elif Türker-Bakir: "Practical implementation of diversity and inclusion measures in large EU Horizon projects: lessons learned from Geo-INQUIRE."

• 13 Geo-INQUIRE online seminars with 15 female and 15 male speaker

• Geo-INQUIRE online Seminar "Fostering Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Geo-INQUIRE"

• Poster at ISC High Performance Conference 2025 by Iris Christadler: "Increasing female attendance and the Geo-INQUIRE training program"

• Organising and financing child care during the workshop "Toward Data Lakes for Recorded and Simulated Earthquake Ground Motions" in September 2024
